ARE YOU SAVED?
There is nothing more important than where you will spend eternity!
The Bible tells us that life is but a vapor. No one will escape death. And eternity is a long, long time -- it's forever and never ends. Your life appears for a little while here on earth and then it is gone, but there is no time in eternity.
Have you ever thought about death? Where will you go after you die? Where will you spend all eternity when your life here on earth is over? There is nothing more important than where you go after you die.
Salvation Begins With God:
Just think of it. God Almighty, the Creator of the Universe, loves you and cares about what happens to you, in this life, and for all eternity. God alone, through His Son, Jesus Christ, can give you abudant (meaningful) life that never ends. He did not make us like robots or puppets to automatically love and obey Him, but He gave us a will and a freedom of choice. It is your choice -- do you choose life, or death? Heaven or hell?We Cannot Save Ourselves:
We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way, and our sin separates us from a holy, just, and perfect God.(The Bible describes sin as the breaking, or transgression, of God's law (1 John 3:4). It is also defined as disobedience or rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7), as well as independence from God. The original translation means "to miss the mark". Simply put, it's doing what we're not suppose to do, and not doing what we ought to do by God's holy standard of righteousness.)
"...your iniquities have separted you from your God: your sins have hidden his face from you so that he will not hear." ~ Isaiah 59:2
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." ~ Isaiah 64:6
"As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." ~ Romans 3:10-12
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" ~ Romans 3:23
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Have you ever stolen (the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions (by your own admission), you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we've only looked at three of the Ten Commandments.
Perhaps you're thinking that the 10 Commandments were given a long time ago and are not relevant for today...but the Bible gives us surety in the New Testament, "that no fornicator (a person who has sex outside of marriage), unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God." ~ Ephesians 5: 5 . Have you put God first in your life? Or have you created a false god to suit yourself; a god you feel comfortable with?
If God judges you by that standard will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? If you're honest and listen to your conscience you know that you will be guilty, and end up in Hell.
It is impossible for us to find peace with God through our own efforts and there is no way we can attain the perfection needed to find favor with God or gain salvation -- all our efforts are worthless and futile. Good works won't do it...or religion...or money...or morality...or philosophy...
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." ~ Proverbs 14:12There is no way we can save ourselves!
A Gift from God:
The Good News is that God Himself made a way for sinners to be forgiven. Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man and was without sin. He suffered and died on the cross and then He rose from the dead, defeating death. You broke the Law and Jesus paid the penalty of sin with His precious blood for sinners!- "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." ~ John 14:6
- "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." ~ Romans 5:8
- "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." ~ John 3:16
believe on the Lord, Jesus Christ,
confess your sins to God,
confess your sins to God,
repent (turn) from your sins,
put your trust in Jesus to save you from eternal damnation,
You man pray a simple prayer to God. Pray using your own words. There is no special formula. Just pray from your heart to God, and believe that he has saved you.
1) Admit/Confess you are a sinner.
- "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" ~ Romans 3:23
- "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." ~ I John 1:9
2) Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from your sins and give you eternal life. You change your mind from unbelief to belief, which results in a change of action.
- John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." ~ John 3:16
3) Repent (turn) from our sins.
- "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." ~ Acts 3:19
If you feel lost and just don’t know what to pray, here’s a prayer of salvation you can pray.
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
Amen
4) Now, don’t doubt.
Salvation is by grace, through faith. There’s nothing you did, or ever can do, to deserve it. It’s a free gift from God. All you have to do is receive it!
- "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." ~ Ephesians 2:8-9
5) Tell someone about your decision.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." ~ Romans 10:9-10

This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ.
To deepen this relationship you should:
1. Read your Bible to know Christ better. I recommend daily!
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a Bible-believing Church.
4. Tell others about your new faith in Christ.
5. As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.
If you don't own a good Bible or have questions about what church to go to, or other questions on how to grow in Christ, please feel free to contact me.
Blessings!
Blessings!
